Applications published on Google Play by Syntec Solutions Ltd are developed and maintained by Syntec Solutions Ltd.

This Privacy Policy applies to the following mobile applications:

SideSweep Mobile App

SideSweep is a mobile app developed by Syntec Solutions Ltd that allows users to create group sweep draws and prediction leagues for sports tournaments.

SideSweep uses the following Firebase services:

  • Firebase Authentication — supports Google Sign-In and anonymous (guest) accounts. Authentication identifiers (Firebase user ID, Google account email and display name where provided via Google Sign-In) are managed by Google Firebase. We do not store Google passwords.
  • Cloud Firestore — stores your user profile (display name), groups you own or are a member of, prediction answers, standings, rewards, and notification records.
  • Firebase Cloud Functions — used to process question settlement, scoring, and account deletion on the server side.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — your device push token is stored to send you group notifications. It is removed immediately when you delete your account.
  • Firebase Analytics — collects app usage events and basic device and app information to help us understand how the app is used and improve reliability and usability. We do not use this data for advertising or to sell user data.
  • Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports, diagnostic information, device and app state, and error logs to help us identify and fix faults.

SideSweep contains no advertisements. We do not sell user data or use user data for advertising. SideSweep uses Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, for authentication, storage, notifications, app diagnostics, and service improvement.

If premium features are purchased, payment is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Syntec Solutions Ltd does not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive purchase status or entitlement information needed to unlock premium features.

Account deletion

SideSweep users can delete their account from within the app by going to Profile → Delete Account.

Users may also request account and data deletion by emailing uk@thesyntecsolution.com with the subject "SideSweep account deletion request", or by visiting syntec.solutions/account-deletion.

When an account is deleted, we delete the Firebase Auth account, user profile, owned groups, predictions, rewards, notifications, and push notification token, except where we are required to retain limited information for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

For mobile apps using Firebase Authentication (such as SideSweep), authentication is managed by Google Firebase and identifiers such as Firebase user ID and Google account email or display name where provided. We do not store Google passwords.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our website, products, and services.
